OUR CORE VALUES
Purpose-Driven Prosperity
We pursue our mission at every level of our work. When Imara grows, opportunity grows on two continents.
Uncompromising Integrity
We operate with complete honesty — with clients, with talent, and with each other. In a business built on trust across great distances, integrity is the foundation everything else rests on.
Excellence in Service
Dependable, responsive, and relentlessly excellent. Our name, Imara—"stability" in Swahili—reflects the standard we hold ourselves to.
Two Continents, One Community
We celebrate the global culture that makes us who we are, and we treat every person in the Imara community — client or colleague, American or African — with kindness, respect, and an open mind.
Continuous Innovation:
We believe the best version of what we do is still ahead of us.
We seek to learn, improve, and adapt every day.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our accountants are more than technically skilled—they're professionals who take pride in their work, communicate with clarity, and show up for their clients like it's their own firm. We look for candidates who bring:
-
A bachelor's degree in accounting or business
-
Strong English communication skills, written and spoken, for a business environment
-
A commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and continuous learning
-
The drive to build a long-term career, not just fill a short-term role
Accountants work from our offices based in Accra, Ghana from afternoon through evening, to overlap with US time zones.
