Our founding team built Imara from experience—years of running accounting firms, living and working across Africa, and believing that the right business can do well and do good at the same time.

Our founders bring together two worlds that were made to meet. Some built and operated U.S. CPA firms, giving them firsthand knowledge of the industry's demands and what it takes to build a practice clients trust. Others were born in or spent years living in Africa, giving them a deep understanding of the continent's professional talent.
